Ezboxx Ltd is currently looking for beta testers for our revolutionary Portal system and also for the new branhc of the Anthem.net Ajax library.

If you'd like to participate then we encourage you to reply under the beta applications thread in this forum... Please review the dev logs for features and details on the portal system and why you will want to be testing it!

Information about the Ezboxx.Anthem project is coming shortly.. but in the meantiem here's a brief overview.

• uses existing mootools js libraries for core functions 
• completely re-written c# code 
• no more wrapper elements in the html 
• extensions to the Existing control set (tree control, layer control etc) 
• Httpmodule so no more Page not registered errors when interacting with the manager prior to onload 
• More extensive eventing options 
• partial viewstate updates. 
• partial post variables (now you can optionally define specific elements to submit instead of the entire form) 
• Much simpler overrides of the asp base controls (no more visible overrides etc). 
• More performant methods of extracting the html delta updates

My name is Keith Shepherd and have been a microsoft developer for 22 years now.  Currently I am a disabled Vietnam vetran due to a stroke in 2003 after i was finally begining to master the .net environment It wiped out all the new technology I had embraced and left me deaf on one side and kinda left me stranded in a home office.

I think that by being a beta tester, if I were to be so lucky, I could put the .net puzzle back together if you know what I mean.  I have developed projects for compaq, continental airlines shell and texaco I think my favorite achievement was when i began creating my own controls.  If you check www.shellpop.com you see the control.   In a nutshell the control only takes up one page to display thousands of items based on category.

Anyway I think this would help me a great deal and would appreciate the opportunity.

Heya Alpha, cheers for the application, we like the skill set you're bringing so we'll be gald to have you in the beta.

We are undergoing a big reshuffle though (as we have for much of the year so far) so we're not sure exactly when the next ebta will start (though we have a very ahrd and fast deadline of the end of june for a big client of ours. (so the new beta will have to start at by the end of june at the latest, it may start prior to that but I cannot give you any gaurantee on that.

so hang in there and we'll post info as it becomes available to us.
